"Visual stories for architecture"
The Process
The architectural visualization industry is well-established and known for its incredibly high visual standards. I’m very aware of that. This is a new venture for me, and I don’t pretend to match the level of professionals who have spent their entire careers perfecting this craft.
My background, however, is in visual effects and art direction, where I’ve spent over a decade creating imagery and motion design for film and advertising. While I’m not an architect and don’t design interiors or exteriors from scratch — these experiences taught me how to tell visual stories, guide the viewer’s eye, and present ideas clearly and beautifully - which is exactly what I would love to do with architectural designs.

Archviz Videos
My primary tool for 3D visualization is Unreal Engine, which, at its core, is a game engine. This gives me the ability to produce high-quality animated videos, not just still renderings.
Traditionally, moving architectural visualization was both time-consuming and costly. My workflow makes it possible to showcase architecture through motion and animation within reasonable timings and budgets.
Big thanks to ANNY Architects for this design.
Archviz Stills
I can also provide high-quality still images of your designs. For these, I take the process even further — starting with Unreal Engine, then refining the images in Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve to ensure accurate detail, strong composition, and a polished final look. Stills can be rendered in any kind of aspect ratio and large resolutions.
Social Media Content
The combination of still images and video makes for ideal marketing content, especially for the constant demand of today’s social media platforms.
I can deliver visuals in any aspect ratio — horizontal, square, or vertical — and either collaborate with your editor to provide raw shots for your edit or handle the full edit myself, producing ready-to-post, high-quality content for your campaigns.
Integration Into Real Environments
Using my visual effects experience, I can integrate your 3D architectural designs into real-world scenes. This is ideal for projects still in development, where building a full virtual environment would be too time-consuming or expensive.
This process is usually done with photographs, but with my workflow, it’s also possible to work with video footage and deliver results in reasonable timeframes.
Big thanks to my brother Jan Smékal for this design.
