Previz &
Art Direction

What I can do for you

Planning and cinema language in digital space. I can help visualize shots and sequences in 3D space before going into full production — dealing with cameras, lenses, blocking, pacing, and sequence editing. With my original background in animation, I can also put together fast 2D animation drafts or boardomatics.

This discipline goes by many names and takes many forms — animatics, scene layouts, previz, techviz, postviz — but the goal is always the same: to explore and plan before committing to full production.

I also have a background in art direction, which means I can help translate the initial client brief, work with references, and make sure the visuals respect the original intention of the project.

What tools I use

Previz

Unreal Engine
The heart of scene assembly and shot creation.

Blender
Works in tandem with UE for asset prep.

Editing & Comp

After Effects
Great for putting together any kind of edit combined with basic comp work: from boardomatics and simple 2D animation to 3D previz shots and, sometimes even full cg comp.

DaVinci Resolve
Increasingly my go-to for quick edits, fast playback, and color tweaks.

Art Direction

InDesign
Perfect for treatments and presentation decks.

Photoshop
Quick concept art, overpaints, and graphics.

Shotdeck & Flim.ai
References and visual research.

Unreal Engine & Blender
Concepts and asset creation. I don’t consider myself a full-fledged art director or concept artist, but these tools let me blend previz and art direction when the project calls for it.

AI Tools
I'm experienced with most commercial AI image and video tools (Midjourney, Magnific, Runway, Kling, etc.). I don’t have much hands-on practice with local workflows like Stable Diffusion or Comfy, but generally I can adapt quickly to AI tools, if a project requires it.
