After Effects may be a dinosaur, but it’s still the go-to tool for animation, motion design, and compositing. It’s incredibly versatile, with a massive community behind it — not to mention the endless sea of tools and plugins that fix problems Adobe never bothered to address in the last 30 years. 🙂
I built this training with one clear goal — to give you all my years of practical, real-world knowledge as directly as possible.

You can check out my Motion Design services and related projects. Most of the 2D work is done in After Effects, with a few using Autodesk Flame.
What makes my training different?
I’ve been using After Effects for many years — both in professional studio environments and for my personal projects. I was the Head of 2D and the Head of the Design Department at UPP Advertising for many years, and After Effects was my go-to tool — and still is in my current freelance career.
The main difference between my training and most official courses out there is simple: no fluff. I can’t really give you a fancy, standardized course like the big companies that market AE training. I don’t want to waste your time with the “proper” way of doing things that no one actually uses in production. Less bullshit, more straight-to-the-point learning. Not just how the software works, but mainly the fundamentals — the "why" for animation and motion in general.
I’ll help you skip years of trial and error, bad habits, and workflow confusion. Honestly, I wish someone had told me years ago what I’ll tell you right from the start :)
How is the training structured?
To give you a real-world learning experience, we’ll focus on actually creating something.
The training is split into two days, and the content depends on your needs and skill level.
The basic structure is always the same — the first day covers more theory and basically melts your brain with tons of new info, and the second day is all about hands-on practice and feedback to solidify your brain back into reality with gained skills :)
We’ll tailor the specific content together based on what you want to achieve.
Who is the training for?
Pretty much anyone — the content adapts to your level and goals.
- Beginner Level – Little or no experience with AE. Let’s kick things off!
- Mid Level – You’ve already made some motion design or animation work, but want to dig deeper and level up.
- Senior Level – Covers advanced workflows, from motion design to heavy compositing under full color management — tying together all aspects of professional AE work in commercial environments.
I work with schools, individual creators, and studios who want to upskill their teams.
I'm based in Prague, so I can do the training in person in the city. I can also travel around Czech Republic. Remote training is also possible, get in touch, we'll figure it out.
